Dartmoor Series (Outlaw MC)

Knoxville, Tennessee. A sprawling industrial complex on the banks of the Tennessee River. An outlaw Motorcycle Club full of men who refuse to play by society's rules...and the women tough enough to love them. This is the world of the Lean Dogs.

This is not a romance. Leave everything you think you know about biker books at the door. Dive into the series reviewers are calling "amazing," "unique," and "one of the best MC reads for 2015." A Southern family drama with teeth, literary style, and none of the old clichés. Enter at your own risk...

A family drama like no other, a sprawling character epic, a forbidden love story full of angst, adventure, heartbreak, and second chances.  Welcome to the mother chapter of the Lean Dogs Motorcycle Club; meet the girl raised by outlaws, and the fearsome man who will always hold her heart.

Ava Teague left for college with a busted heart and a deeply ingrained love for her biker family. She returns home to Knoxville for grad school, just in time for her father to accept the burden of president…and for Mercy Lécuyer to roll back into town, looking to patch into the Tennessee chapter once more. She’ll steer clear of him, she tells herself. She has a new life, a new boyfriend, and a new outlook. But she can’t shake her DNA. And maybe she doesn’t want to.

Felix Lécuyer left the swamps of Louisiana for a life as an outlaw biker named Mercy, but it was his family, and the retribution he dealt because of it, that made him famous within the club. Fourteen years ago he fled New Orleans for Knoxville, to become an extractor and bodyguard within the mother chapter, guarding Ghost Teague’s family, becoming a constant companion to little Ava. When she was seventeen, he finally crossed the line. Now she’s twenty-two, and he’s back in town as on old nemesis rears its ugly head, and puts the entire club in danger. The fate of the club is uncertain, but Mercy has no doubts about his heart; it still belongs to Ava.

Book II in the Dartmoor Series.

Holly Jessup came to Knoxville in search of the Lean Dogs MC, hoping to find a killer among them. She’s spent four months cozying up to Sgt. at Arms Michael, and it’s time to make her move.

Michael McCall isn’t in the habit of accepting contract hits, but Holly isn’t the kind of girl who chases after Dogs. She’s petrified, and infatuated, and she might be the first woman to see him for the man he is, rather than the outlaw he seems. Maybe, for Holly, he can become St. Michael at last.

After the events of FEARLESS, the Lean Dogs can’t afford any more scandals. Michael never expected he’d be the one to bend the rules. And no one thought his feelings for one woman could shake the balance of the Tennessee underworld.

Half My Blood-  June 16th, 2015

It’s summer in Knoxville, and if the outlaw crew at Dartmoor Inc. thought they were getting a respite from the drama…they were kidding themselves.

Almost a year ago, Mercy’s dying mother claimed he had a half-brother, sired by the beloved father he’d always thought infallible, raised by another man as his own. He’s been in denial ever since, but when Colin O’Donnell arrives, it’s time to face facts. Turns out his family isn’t lost – he only wishes this member of it was.

Holly McCall is determined to prove her worth to the other old ladies – Maggie, specifically. She never dreamed of a life like this, and as she searches for self-worth and acceptance, she is wrapped step-by-step in the gentlest love of the fiercest man.

For Aidan and Tango, this summer is a season for realizations. For waking to a vision of the future. And for drowning in the past.

In this Dartmoor Series novella, readers will spend time with the entire club, meet new voices, and fall deeper into the world of the Lean Dogs MC. Not a stand-alone romance, Half My Blood balances several central storylines with delicacy and passion. Brimming with emotion, spotlighting secondary characters, Dartmoor fans won’t want to miss this bridge between novels two and three in the series. Book three, The Skeleton King, releases September 2015.

The Skeleton King - September 15th, 2015

His club brothers call him the Money Man. Vice President Kingston Walsh is one of the most trusted members of the Lean Dogs MC. He’s thoughtful, quiet, and he’s all business. Who better to serve as guardian of the club’s skeletons?

He never counted on the girl, but he’s not letting her go. She has skeletons too…

Emmie Johansen has worked at the same horse farm all her life, and when the owner decides to sell, she’s crushed. Briar Hall is about to be sold to real estate developers, and she’s about to be out of a job, a home, and a purpose.

Enter Walsh, and the Lean Dogs MC. Emmie thought losing the farm was the worst possible scenario. But when the club buys Briar Hall, and keeps her on as manager, she begins to unravel the farm’s dark secrets…and learns the true meaning of “outlaw.”

The Skeleton King is the third full-length installment of the Dartmoor Series, and is NOT a standalone novel. This is a work of Literary Fiction, told from alternating points of view. Be sure to look for earlier books in the series: Fearless, Price of Angels, and Half My Blood. Book 4 coming soon.

    1. I'd like to write one for them. Parts of their story have been told via conversation, but it would be fun to really step back in time and be a fly on the wall to their beginning :)

    1. Oh, that does suck! I know I have some international readers who buy the books through the US Kindle store, so I think Amazon takes care of the currency conversion. Email me if you want, we'll see if we can get it figured out :)

    1. I would LOVE to do a holiday novella! I love when authors do those, and it would be so much fun, I think. I have a storyline in mind and everything. The only thing is - it would slow down the production of Aidan's book. So I'm not sure yet if I ought to take the time to work on a holiday piece :(

    1. Hi Melissa, thank you so much! I always love to hear from happy readers :-)

As to Smoke, I had hoped to have it out before Christmas, but I'm starting to think that, realistically, it will have to be after New Years. I'm not going to have a big pre-order ramp up, so the second it's totally complete, edited, and polished, it will be made available. Hope that helps, and Happy Holidays!
